Conveniently located 10 miles from Boston, Rivermore Cats is our small, home-based cattery in Swampscott, MA. We show and breed top-quality, purebred Maine Coon cats. Our cats are our beloved pets, chosen for health, temperament and conformation. Our kittens are raised underfoot, with love and attention, among our three children and a dog. As a result, Rivermore kittens are playful, affectionate and well-adjusted. All of our cats are screened and are negative for FeLV, FIV, SMA and the known HCM mutation. In addition, our breeding cats are further tested and cleared for HCM after age two. Our kittens are each sold with a written sales contract (including altering agreement), registration papers for one or more purebred cat registries (CFA, CFF or TICA), a veterinary health record, a one-year genetic health guarantee, and at least first vaccinations.
